Organization

The Archives Department functions under the administrative Control of the Commissioner  & Secretary to Government of Haryana, Archives Department and the Director is the Head of the Department; both belong to the Indian Administrative Services. All the archival activities of the Department are looked after by the Deputy Director at Headquarters and by the Assistant Directors at Regional Repositories.
